Carbon Certification Scheme
The Carbon Certification Scheme recognises businesses at different stages of their climate action journey, rewarding efforts to reduce emissions, adapt to climate impacts, and support wider climate action.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Certifications are awarded to organisations based on their progress and commitment to tackling the climate crisis. CCA members can apply for any of the three levels (Climate Foundations, Climate Steward, Climate Champion) as well as the Adaptive and Resilient certification for organisations strengthening their climate preparedness.
More information on the 2026 scheme, including eligibility and the evidence required for each badge, is outlined here. Applications for the scheme will open in February 2026.
