OUR IMPACT

Business Climate Challenge

Over 130 businesses have now taken part in the Business Climate Challenge – an energy efficiency programme which aims to help businesses reduce their annual energy consumption and cut carbon

Funded by the Mayor of London and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the initiative has now supported 132 businesses across Camden, Brent, and Westminster across two cohorts.

Businesses were recruited through the Camden Climate Alliance with support from Brent Council and local Business Improvement Districts The Fitzrovia Partnership, Camden Town Unlimited, Euston Town BID, Central District Alliance and the Knowledge Quarter

Businesses who took part received support from technical consultants WSP and Turner & Townsend, including:

  • An energy audit of their workplace
  • A recommendation report on recommended measures and savings
  • Access to an interactive energy management dashboard to monitor progress
  • 1:1 support from consultants
  • training sessions on topics including but not limited to energy management and behaviour change

Case-studies

Hear from some of our programme participants about their experience of the programme:

We entered the programme with a strong commitment to sustainability, but tools and guidance were offered to help us take our commitment and turn it into even more tangible action. We are now more confident in our ability to achieve our net-zero goals, and we are grateful for the programme’s support in this journey
