CAMDEN & BRENT BUSINESS CLIMATE CHALLENGE

Business Sustainability Series

The Business Sustainability Series has been created to help businesses gain the necessary skills needed to reduce their energy consumption, achieve cost and energy savings and also reduce carbon emissions.

In particular the trainings are aimed at participants on the current Camden and Brent Business Climate Challenge and participations from the previous Mayor of London’s Business Climate Challenge, as the sessions are designed to support business understanding of their net zero recommendation reports, and how to take action.

However, attendance is absolutely encouraged and free for all Camden Climate Alliance members, members of The Fitzrovia Partnership and businesses based in Brent.

Our trainings are designed so that there’s something for everyone, irrespective of whether a business is only just starting it’s sustainability journey, or planning large scale retrofit. Details of our past and upcoming trainings can be found below.

25 businesses on the Camden and Brent Climate Challenge  joined us for an in person training session at The British Library in June 2024. Core areas covered in this training included what does a net zero building look like and how you can make your operations more efficiency, understanding units of energy and how to set targets, options for switching to cleaner heating options and renewable energy.

We had more than 35 businesses join us for an interactive online session to gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between behaviour and energy use, learn about practical tools and strategies to promote energy conservation and apply frameworks to develop a customised action plan to implement in your workplace.
